Award-winning championship course ranked amongst the very best in Thailand
One of Thailand's very best, the award-winning championship-standard course at Alpine Golf Club has played host to numerous top level events, most famously the 2000 and 2004 editions of the Johnnie Walker Classic PGA tournament, the former won by Tiger Woods. A members-only golf club boasting the best (and most challenging) layout in Bangkok, it's a must-play course on any Bangkok golf holiday.
It's a relatively mature course, with large stately trees, bushes, and shrubs flourishing in the undulating parkland layout, and water features prominently. Expect to encounter lightning-fast greens, undulating fairways and beach-style bunkers, all kept in impeccable condition. It's a pleasure to play.
You'll need to hit straight off the tee to avoid ending up in the jungle that lines many of the holes, and the greens are also challenging to find, with some holes featuring island greens. Keeping the ball below the hole is crucial since most of the greens slope from back to front. Conservative fairway and approach shots will be rewarded while poorly placed shots will result in costly penalties.
Playing at Alpine Golf & Sports Club is an unforgettable experience for golfers, with picturesque holes, lush vegetation, and an extravagance of undulations and earth mounding. The clubhouse facilities, locker rooms, and two restaurants (a coffee shop and gourmet Chinese restaurant) are excellent and complemented by superb service.

Nur fabelhaft
Es gibt kaum einen schöneren platz.es passt einfach alles caddy restsurant pto shop service Alles nur vom feinstenThe course is very beautiful. Very challenging off the tee and the greens are very quick, though in average condition.
They were quite sandy. If you can keep it in play off the tee and are a low ish handicap, you can score here quite easily imo as the ball travels so far due to the heat. Even off the blue tees which is 6500 yards I don’t remember having to ever hit a mid to long iron on any par 4. The course has a lot of character and provides a good test to all golfers. If you struggle off the tee, you will find the round very difficult. Overall, a great course well worth the money and the trip if you are in Bangkok. You are greeted when you exit your taxi and they take your clubs which is very helpful. The clubhouse is very nice and the facilities inside are good. The gents locker room has everything you need before and after a round, e.g. shower, jacuzzi etc. The restaurant is okay, nothing special. However, overall the clubhouse is very good and has a country club feel to it. The practice facilities are good. However, I asked my caddy to go to the range about 40 minutes before the round and she didn’t understand so I wasn’t able to hit balls before I played. This isn’t a criticism in anyway as we are in Thailand. My caddy was very helpful and her green reading was exceptional. The pace of play is way too slow though. I wouldn’t come back for this reason. There is no reason for it to take roughly 5 hours in buggies. I genuinely don’t know what people are doing. After the round the people at the starters desk were very helpful and arranged a taxi for us in to Bangkok. The pro shop also has a lot of good options. The clubs provided for hire are very old and my friend selected the Titleist option but ended up with a lot of Homa clubs. Nevertheless, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend playing this course.Top notch course and facilities.
Excellent overall. Very challenging layout but fair. I’ve played many of the highly rated courses in Bangkok and Alpine was not only my favorite but in my opinion the best so far. I was so impressed considering the membership options.Course Info
