Ayodhya Links
About
Very prestigious and exclusive links-style course with water hazards on every hole
Established in 2007 by a consortium of thirty of Thailand's most affluent individuals, Ayodhya Links stands as one of the most exclusive golf clubs in the entire Asian region. Membership to this distinguished club is attainable solely through invitation, ensuring that only the elite and prominent figures of Thai society grace its clubhouse. Unless you happen to share close ties with one of these privileged invitees, the prospect of securing a tee time at Ayodhya Links remains rather elusive.
The initial blueprint for the course was conceived by the design firm Thomson and Perrett, but it was the current Owner/Chairman, Pitak Intrawityanunt, who breathed life into the project, ultimately crafting a formidable layout where water hazards lie in ambush at each of the eighteen holes documented on the scorecard. Coupled with undulating fairways, lightning-quick greens, and an array of deep bunkers, Ayodhya has earned its reputation as a true crucible of golfing skill.
From the championship tees, the course stretches an imposing 7,639 yards, and it's worth noting that merely one of the ten par-four holes on the layout measures under 400 yards from these back markers. Fortunately, Ayodhya caters to a wide range of players, offering five sets of tees at each hole, ensuring that casual play from the red or yellow markers remains an enjoyable experience.
