Set about 55 kilometers north of downtown Bangkok in rural Ayutthaya Province, Bangsai Country Club is a challenging and picturesque 27-hole golf course that winds through open countryside. Creeks and woodlands surround the course, and local flowers and wildlife thrive there. Expect elevated tee boxes, well-maintained fairways and rolling terrain that is flanked by lateral water on 11 holes.
The 11th hole is one of the best, with water on the left side that prevents cutting the corner and a string of bunkers and trees on the right. Shorter drives should consider hitting down the right side before the fairway doglegs left, while long hitters can carry the water and sand to the green. Other unique holes include the third, fourth, and fifth, which are framed by giant dunes that act as waste bunkers, while the signature 14th features ten different tee boxes and a shot over the water to a well protected green.
Originally an 18-hole complex, the club has benefitted from an extra 9 holes being added to create a wonderful 27-hole complex that is both enjoyable and affordable. It is this affordability that has allowed the course to grow into one of the favourites in the region, although still somewhat considered a hidden jewel on the golfing scene of Bangkok.
Service at Bangsai Country Club is outstanding, with a first-rate restaurant, locker rooms, and pro shop. The facilities are so high-quality that one could mistake it for a private members club. Bangsai is a great value-for-money golfing experience, especially during weekdays when the course is practically empty. However, weekend green fees are higher and locals and expatriates book most tee times, so you might encounter slower pace of play.

A very mature course offering 27 holes. Excellent clubhouse serving great food and with very friendly staff. Each of the 9-hole layouts are excellent although when we were there there was a severe water shortage so the courses was not in the best condition.Course Info
