Comprising three distinct 9-hole championship courses—the Lagoon Course, Palm Course, and Garden Course—the conveniently located Panya Indra Golf Club boasts a remarkable landscape with colourful flowering plants, palm tree-lined fairways, and lakes and ponds that come into play on almost every hole. Sculpted bunkers, natural flowing lines of fairways, and undulating fairways add to the unique character of the course.
The par-3 holes are the most challenging, almost all requiring playing over water, notably on the Palm Course's 4th hole which boasts an excellent island green. Clover-leaf bunkering defines the holes, leading to small, tricky greens that have almost no flat spots, making your skill with the putter a make-or-break aspect of your day.
Although the course is to be commended for the condition in which it is kept, play at Panya Indra Golf Club can be erratic and slow due to the popularity of the course with local Thai business executives, members, and government officials. Patience is required for maximum enjoyment.
Clubhouse facilities, locker rooms, and onsite restaurants are decent, if unspectacular, but the course still has much to recommend it as part of any Bangkok golf holiday.

I booked a tee time for two people on Friday night. Golfsavers did not informed me in advance that groups of two would need to be joined with other players, as the minimum per flight is three. Despite arriving 30 minutes before my tee time (at 5:00 PM), I only started playing around 6:20 PM. This delay occurred because the caddy master and marshal were unsure which hole I should start from, requiring me to visit several holes to find a flight to join. The pace of play was also very slow, as they allowed six players per flight, and the two flights ahead of me each had six players. The course was in excellent condition and not particularly challenging to play. The caddies were very kind and helpful, providing clear directions and useful tips about the course.Great time golfing. It was a little chaotic. It's at check-in as process of finding your reservation involves them searching text messages and acting very confused. But it all worked out. What would be helpful is a basic set of first time instructions such as how to check in? How to select a caddy, where to find your rental clubs etc. I'm sure, this is very normal after you've played a few rounds in Thailand, but it's very different from how we do it in the west.Course Info
