About
Play some of the best holes on earth at Asia's one and only replica course
An exceptional and unique creation that combines nine of the world's best golf holes with the back nine of Augusta National, The RG City Golf Club (formerly Royal Gems Golf City) has successfully transformed once flat farmland outside Bangkok into an exciting course incorporating extreme challenges and severe elevation changes.
Walking onto the first tee can transport golfers to holes they've only dreamed of playing. There's an Asian version of Oakmont's 3rd, with its famous church pew bunkers to the left, a facsimile of Bay Hill Florida's par-5 6th, with its narrow fairway that curves around water, as well as replicas of Sawgrass' famous 17th island green, the Road Hole at St. Andrews, the Postage Stamp from Royal Troon Scotland, and more.
Even after playing these iconic holes, golfers shouldn't relax as the back nine of Augusta National, including Amen Corner, awaits with the same lengths, elevations, and difficulty that has been toughened up in recent years. While the hundreds of trees that have been planted have yet to fully mature, you need to use your imagination a bit but the course looks even more like Augusta with each passing year.
Playing replicas of 18 of the world's top golf holes in a single day can be taxing. However, with the help of knowledgeable Thai caddies and an excellent clubhouse, the experience at the The RG City Golf Club in Bangkok is the best that most of us will ever get to experiencing some of the iconic holes in world golf. Highly recommended.
Reviews
Great course, did their best imitation of Augusta.
The course was in great nick although the greens had been cored recently. Bit of water for the wayward but manageable. Bucket list ticked off, and I would return for sure. Caddies were fantastic and very knowledgeable. I couldn’t see Augusta in some of the holes, but in general, it’s a fantastic concept.Great day out - great service by the clubhouse staff.
They know you're coming and treat you well. Caddies were knowledgeable and very good at their job. The course was in excellent condition. Some holes more than others give you the correct feeling of being at these legendary golf courses. Greens were sanded so difficult to get any stop on them, but they didn't putt as fast as the real thing - just as well! What a great experience - well looked after and a lot of fun
Course was in great condition, interesting playing on holes you recognize but have never played, caddies were very knowledgeable about the course and a great help. Staff in the clubhouse were super attentive and made the experience very specialCourse Info
