Located at the mouth of the Bangpakong River, the Royal Lakeside Golf Club is an oasis of calm, surrounded by beautiful shrubs and flowers, with some holes bordering the river bank and others featuring a lagoon that encircles the course. The riverside location ensures refreshing breezes throughout the day, and the stunning scenery enhances the golfing experience.
A unique feature of the course is the private marina available for yachts, accessible from Bangkok or Pattaya via the Yacht Club. The new ultra-dwarf Bermuda turf greens constructed in 2011 are undulating and fast-rolling, while the Zoysia grassed fairways are always well-maintained. The earth mounding around the greens and sides of the fairways adds to the course's challenge, while the open feel is created by good-width fairways and light semi-rough, making it easy to find balls.
The course's garden-like quality is created by an array of trees, flowers, shrubs, and occasional streams, with significant waste bunkers lining the fairways. Water hazards, in the form of small creeks and a perimeter lagoon, require careful course management. The course's par-3 holes are well-bunkered and require precision.
The impressive dome-topped clubhouse offers excellent locker and shower facilities and two fine dining restaurants serving Japanese and Thai cuisine. The Royal Lakeside Golf Club is popular among Japanese golfers and offers low green fees, making it an excellent choice for a day out golfing in Bangkok's pleasant surroundings.

This is still one of the best golf courses in this part of Thailand. It’s exactly half way between Bangkok and Pattaya so it’s equally accessible from both cities. The huge clubhouse is exceptional and the service excellent and the course was also well equally well maintained. The caddies were good and knew their stuff and made us feel very welcome. The whole experience was ruined because they allow groups of six to play and this blocks the entire course and we ended up playing the same nine holes again otherwise we would not have finished before dark. The clubhouse and service are outstanding and the 18-hole golf course is maintained to the same high standard.Course Info
