Premium championship course with good scoring opportunities
The Toby Cobb-designed Siam Country Club Bangkok, the fifth addition to the Siam Country Club and situated just 40 minutes from downtown Bangkok, is a championship 18-hole golf course spanning 7,250 yards and features Zoysia grass for fairways and ultra-dwarf Bermuda grass for greens. Unusually for Bangkok, it's a hybrid course, combining a sparsely treed parkland course with a links site.
The fairways are generously wide and gently sloped, while the elevated and super-large greens feature catchment areas and well-designed bunker complexes. The use of native red grass and mounding frames many holes, making for a visually striking course. The semi-rough is also cut short, making play enjoyable for all.
With only four water holes, Siam Country Club Bangkok offers more unique features than other Bangkok golf courses. The course has many potted grass face bunkers scattered throughout, which, while small, often come into play. The 18 turtle-back greens range from 425 to 1,000 sqm and are tricky yet challenging, requiring proper club distancing and daily pin placements. The 18th hole, facing the restaurant in the modern-designed 4,400 sqm clubhouse, is a 159-yard par-3 with a large green and a deep pot bunker to the left.
The well-appointed clubhouse has first-class changing rooms, a well-stocked pro shop, and an excellent restaurant specializing in Japanese cuisine. The caddies are well-trained and come from nearby courses. However, the course lacks a driving range, and single carts must stay on the cart paths.
Overall, Siam Country Club Bangkok is an excellent addition to the Siam Country Club brand, and most golfers will have a memorable experience playing this unique hybrid course.

First class facility, course and Caddy
For such a young course it was already in great condition. The facilities are Fantastic, brand new basically and even better it was closer to Bangkok City than what i expected.
